The PKNS Selangor Masters is expected to be one of its most renowned events next year since it will be held as the Asian Development Tour's (ADT) season-opening competition for the first time.
Seri Selangor Golf Club, which has been the tournament's favorite location since its founding in 2008, will host one of Malaysia's most prominent competitions from January 22–25.

Rahil Gangjee of India won the competition this year [main picture] in June, succeeding Ho Yu-cheng of China and Shahriffuddin Ariffin of Malaysia.
As the chairman of the organizing committee, YB Dato’ Setia Haji Haris Bin Kasim, stated, "PKNS is thrilled that the next Selangor Masters is quickly approaching."

Before being promoted to the Asian Tour the following year, when Malaysia's Ben Leong won the championship, the Selangor Masters was originally held on the local circuit in 2007. Prior to joining the ADT three years ago, following COVID-19, it was played on the Asian Tour till 2014.
Joonas Granberg (2011) of Finland, Angelo Que (2010) of the Philippines, and Australian Rick Kulacz (2009) are the other champions.
Following them were the Thai trio of Chapchai Nirat (2014), Pariya Junhasavasdikul (2013), and Thaworn Wiratchant (2012).
Itthipat Buranatanyarat of Thailand captured the Order of Merit title at the final minute by winning the ADT's season-ending Aramco Invitational in Saudi Arabia two weeks ago.
