Kneiser and Higa shoot 69s to sit second after first round completed

During the first round of the International Series India presented by DLF, George Kneiser of the United States and Kazuki Higa of Japan stood out by shooting 3-under-par 69s.

Kneiser and Higa were among the 42 players who could not complete their rounds on Thursday due to thick fog, which delayed the start of the tournament at DLF Golf and Country Club. Eugenio Chacarra of Spain leads after shooting a 68 on Thursday.

Santiago De la Fuente (Spain), Chase Koepka (USA), and Joel Stalter (France) each scored 70s to tie for fourth place with Joaquin Niemann (Chile), Justin Quiban (Philippines), and Danthai Boonma (Thailand).

Bryson DeChambeau, playing in India for the first time, completed his remaining two holes with a bogey and a par to finish at 1-under. Due to more fog, play was delayed by two hours, and only the first session of round two was completed on Friday.

The US$2 million event marks the second stop on the Asian Tour and the first leg of The International Series.
